Product decisions

Choices you can confirm directly in the Blueprint.

When a Retired asset is later found to be usable again, what should the office manager be able to do with it?ConfirmedWhen a Retired asset is later found to be usable again, what should the office manager be able to do with it?
Retirement is permanent

Assumptions

Items that should be verified before implementation.

Retirement is permanent: a Retired asset cannot be assigned again or moved back to In stock. This is confirmed by the office manager.

High impactAccepted

Only the office manager signs in; employees do not have accounts or self-service access.

Medium impactAccepted

Asset tags are also treated as unique in addition to serial numbers, so each physical item has one record.
