Lost and found log

Front Desk Lost & Found Log

An internal lost-and-found log for front desk staff at a gym, coworking space, or small hotel. Staff sign in to record each found item with where it was found and where it is stored, handle claims, and mark items as returned. Admin creates staff accounts, sets the retention period in days, and can dispose items. No photos, public search, AI matching, or owner notifications.

Product decisions

Choices you can confirm directly in the Blueprint.

Assumptions

Items that should be verified before implementation.

The initial retention period in days is not specified; the admin sets it in Settings before the Disposable rule has any effect.

Medium impactNeeds confirmation

Disposable is a calculated display status for still-stored items past the retention period; the stored status only changes to Disposed when an admin marks it.

Medium impactNeeds confirmation

Admin creates staff accounts directly in Settings, including the initial admin account being provisioned outside this flow.
