Refund Policy
How to request a payment refund and what happens to your subscription and allowances.

For product or technical issues, email [email protected] with your account email, Paddle transaction reference, and a brief explanation. Do not send payment-card details or passwords. You may request a payment refund directly through Paddle at https://paddle.net or the support link in your receipt. We use Paddle’s process rather than an automatic refund button.
Eligibility and review
Purchases processed by Paddle are subject to its current Refund Policy and mandatory consumer rights. A request may be approved in full, approved in part, or declined. We do not promise a universal no-questions-asked refund period. Your legal rights for faulty, misdescribed, or unavailable services and any applicable withdrawal rights remain unaffected. Additional refund promises made at purchase will be honored.
Pending and approved refunds
A pending request does not change your allowances. Once Paddle approves a refund and notifies us, it appears in your refund history and the corresponding allowance adjustments are applied. Approved does not mean your bank has already credited the funds; payment timing depends on Paddle and the payment method. Rejected requests do not reduce allowances.
Credits and consultation messages
Approved refunds reduce the original payment’s Credits and consultation allowance proportionally to the cumulative refunded pre-tax service amount, rounded up to whole units. Tax-only refunds leave these allowances unchanged. Full refunds remove the original payment’s remaining allowances. We do not take Credits from another payment, create negative balances, undo completed work, or erase projects. Amounts committed to ongoing tasks are reconciled on settlement; previously used allowances are not restored by a refund.
Canceling renewal
Refunding a payment and canceling a subscription are separate. To prevent future renewal charges, use Manage subscription in IdeaMade’s Credits page, your Paddle receipt, or https://paddle.net. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Requesting or receiving a refund does not automatically cancel renewal.
Task Credit returns
Credits released after a task or returned following a qualifying task failure are internal allowance adjustments. They do not transfer money back to your payment method and are distinct from the payment refunds described here.
